English: The Ship Victory Looking across St Oswald's Way, the inner ring road, towards The Ship Victory, painted white. The pub faces onto the remains of William Street with George Street running past the far end of the building. The area to the right of the pub was once terraced housing with the Gorse Stacks cattle market to the left. The Ship Victory now stands alone next to the Gorse Stacks car park. |
