| Description |
English: The Shell Tower and Waterloo Station Seen from the London Eye. At the top of the tower is an observation gallery, and as a boy in the mid 1960's I was taken there by my uncle who worked in the building. You could work out the exact date from Hansard - on the same day I visited the House of Commons, memorable for the fact that I missed by one day the last appearance in the House of Winston Churchill, with speeches marking the occasion. |
