English: The Second World War 1939 - 1945- Victory and Aftermath Defendants in the dock during the Nuremberg war crimes trials. Left to right: Goering, Hess, Ribbentrop, Keitel, Kaltenbrunner, Rosenberg, Frank, Frick, Streicher, Funk, Schacht, Doenitz, Raeder, Schirach, Sauckel, Jodl, von Papen, von Seyss-Inquart, Speer, von Neurath and H Fritzsche. The trials ended in October 1946 with the execution of 19 of the principal defendants. Similar trials were conducted in Tokyo with respect to the Japanese. |
