| Description |
English: The River Eye at Ham Bridge. The river widens out into a large pool just upstream from Ham Bridge. The Eye is classed as a SSSI along this stretch but there is considerable concern for its status because of nutrient pollution from the run off from the fields. There is an action group, Environment Sensitive Farming http://www.environmentsensitivefarming.co.uk/ which gives advice to farmers and land managers. |
