| Description |
English: The Old Turbary, Mynydd Llandegai, near Bethesda. This view looking towards the pump storage dam at Marchlyn Mawr is of a former Turbary (peat digging ground). The peat was the old energy source providing local inhabitants with fuel for cooking, and heating. Today the Hydro Power Station built inside the mountain of Elidir Fawr (covered in cloud) does the job in a sustainable manner. |
