| Description |
English: The Old Toll House on the Basingstoke Road (A33) at Chineham. The Old Toll House on the left of this picture is a 17th century Grade II listed building which was originally used to collect money from travellers on the road between Basingstoke and Reading. It was restored in the 1980s and was sold as a residential property. However, the building is now uninhabitable as it is infested with Aspergillus mould which produces aspergillosis in humans, a serious and potentially fatal condition. |
