Summary[edit]

Description
English: The Old Rectory Opposite St Michael's church. A rectory house is known to have existed in Withington in 1727 but by 1827 it was in a poor state and Charles Heather, a builder/surveyor from Hereford was asked to design a new building. Using the old foundations, he produced a two and a half storey house of sandstone with a hipped slate roof. There are sash-windows and a porch with Tuscan columns.
