Summary[edit]

Description
English: The Little Book by Johan Peters (Biblical insight of upcoming events)

The Little Book is meant to be faith-building study guide as well as a teaching manual. It gives a Biblical perspective regarding future developments, avoiding theories and adhering mainly to the prophetic writings of the Old and New Testament.

TITLE The title is adopted from the Book of Revelation chapter ten, where John the Revelator says to the angel, “Give me the little book.” It brings clarity to the angel’s answer, “Take it and eat it up and it shall make your belly bitter but it shall be in your mouth sweet as honey.” Sweet, because it gives understanding and elucidates the prophecies; Bitter, because the realities of the interpretation are hard to digest.

CONTENTS Over 350 Biblical excerpts are woven together in chronological order in a simple point by point, page by page account of upcoming events, with references on each page. These events along with information on how to be spiritually prepared for the challenging days ahead make it a comprehensive and advisable study.

The book is divided into three major parts: 1. The chronological order of future events. 2. Details on the prophet Daniel’s timelines; Clarification on Apocalyptical phenomena (i.e. four horsemen, woman in wilderness, seal of God,) 3. Appendix: Comparative Religious Study on the Six World Religions: Why Jesus? Why not Buddha or others?

CRITICISM Seeing the controversy that has been created around the subject of the Lord’s second coming many shy away from it and Peters has received not only euphoric reactions, but has been given many a cold shoulder along with criticism of wasting his time and being too radical.

PROPHECY rec’d from Jesus “People come to me for different reasons, for financial help, for spiritual help, for their children, or for their general health and well being. Although these things have importance, it has cemented in people’s mind that my testimony is to be their saviour, helper and healer. There is however much more, because besides being focused on assisting you, I have my Father’s overall plan in mind which is much larger than the day to day needs. His plan is coming across well in The Little Book and if my children will realize the importance of the words that, “The testimony of Jesus is the Spirit of prophecy” then it will dawn on them how vital it is to know what lies ahead and they will do their best to prepare accordingly.”

“I have been a believer for over 40 years, but this is the first time in my life that the prophecies in the Bible make sense to me.” Brenda J. (mother - Wales)
