Description
עברית: האינתיפאדה הראשונה: פרשת חטיפתו של סוחר הזהב היהודי מבת ים, שאול משעניה בטולכרם. כוחות הביטחון עצרו 13 תושבים מהכפר עבוש, שבו נמצא החטוף שאול משעניה. מקורות ערביים מסרו, כי צה״ל הגיע ביום חמישי (ה-24 לאוגוסט) ב־11 בבוקר בכוח גדול .ובשלושה הליקופטרים, הקיף את הכפר והטיל עליו עוצר. קבוצות קטנות של חיילים עברו מבית לבית ועצרו צעירים וגברים, וריכזו אותם בבית־הספר. לדברי המקורות, כמאה עצירים רוכזו בכפר עד תשע בערב. בתמונה: החטוף שאול משעניה לאחר שחולץ על ידי צה"ל מבור המים בו הוחזק על ידי המחבלים מדבר עם משפחתו ולצידו אלוף פיקוד המרכז, יצחק מרדכי.
