English: The High Street, Olney, Bucks (Milton Keynes) This pleasant small market town comes alive on Shrove Tuesday when various pancake races take place. When the fun is over there is a Service of Thanksgiving in the parish church when 'Olney Hymns' are sung, their authors Newton and Cowper being associated with the town. The most famous of them is Amazing Grace. |
