| Transcript | The Golden Temple. Held by many to be the oldest and holiest temple amid the 1,000 temples of Benares, the holiest city in India. Covered with gold pates, set on copper, it really dates from the 18th century and was built to replace the one razed to the ground by Aurangzebe. |
