English: The Egryn Manganese Mine. The character and history of this interesting mine - a northern continuation of the Hafotty Mine is chronicled in Dave Linton's fascinating web account, found on the following link: http://www.davel.f2s.com/hendrecoed/Merioneth-Manganese/mines/egryn/index.html
It should be noted that these mines, although appearing to be little more than trench-like diggings, do contain lethal stopes which only a schlemiel would attempt to enter. |
