Each case was located on the map of the city, and differentcolored pins were used to indicate seasonal distribution, and im-ported cases. The year was arbitrarily divided into two parts, those casesoccurring in January, February, March, April, May, June, andDecember being given one color as coming in a season when flytransmission could be practically excluded, while the cases inJuly, August, September, October and November were at leastpossibly of fly etiology.
