English: Satire in six compartments on the controversy surrounding the taking of the French ship "Duc de Penthièvre" by the "Anti-Gallican" privateer: 1. the encounter clearly labelled as three leagues from the Spanish coast; 2. insurers bemoan their losses if the French ship is declared a legitmate prize; 3. two Spanish ships regain the French ship; 4. a scene in Cadiz where the British consul complains that Captain Foster of the "Anti-Gallican"; 5. "Britain's Hope" (an anchor) suspended on the columns of the Treaty of Aix la Chapelle sags under the weight of money bags labelled "Treachery", etc. while the devil, "the friend of France" brings more bags to break the anchor; 6. a Frenchman and a Spaniard urinate on the Union flag; six etched verses below. 20 September 1757
