at the Lord was withDavid to help him, and he was yet the more afraid of him, and came to be hisenemy, and hated him. And he spoke to Jonathan, his son, and to all his ser-vants, and commanded them to kill David. But. Saul knew of allthese things, and was full of joy -when they happened. Why, then, Jonathanasked, would he do so wicked a thing now, as to kill David?
