Together in the sight of all the congregation, theyascended a huge mountain, INIount Hor, and they took withthem Eleazar, Aarons eldest surviving son, Eleazar hadbeen but a boy at the time of leaving Egypt, so againsthim the general doom of death in the wilderness did nothold. He was to be Aarons successor as high priest, astronger one in some ways than his father. And INIosesstripped Aaron of his garments, and put them upon Eleazar,his son; and Aaron died there in the top of tlie mount; andMoses and Eleazar came down from the mount. ii-J>4
