English: A contemporary artist's rendering of one of the most popular postcard subjects, the all important "bhistie" who brought water in an animal skin to the thirsty. Postmarked July 14, 1904 and sent to Monsieur Emile Jouberteaux, Societe General a Bergerac, Dordogne, France: "Best. Coates. Lackland Lahore 14.7.04."
