| Description |
The final encore number for the performance was the 1986 hit, "Walk Like an Egyptian." For this number, Egyptian dances are being performed by members of A Fragile Tomorrow, the Charleston, South Carolina-based band that had opened for the Bangles for this show, and for all the West Coast shows of this tour. The Bangles, known for such hits in the 1980s as "Walk Like an Egyptian" and "Eternal Flame," released a brand-new album in 2011, entitled Sweetheart of the Sun, and toured the US in support of it. The 12 November show in Anaheim is the final one of the tour. The Bangles are made up of the following members: - Susanna Hoffs, vocals/guitar - Debbi Peterson, vocals/percussion/guitar - Vicki Peterson, vocals/guitar - Bassist Michael Steele left the band in 2005. This was my second Bangles concert; the first had been on 17 September 2000 in San Francisco. |
