Description

The Armistice of 24 May, 1915. This image shows Turkish dead lying in front of the New Zealand front lines at "The Nek". The joint supervising parties are at work in the background.

The image comes from a published volume, which was rephotographed and then archived in a series of historic Post Office prints.
