e plant of theWestern States Porcelain Co. of Rich-mond, the present Pacific plants beingunable to turn out enough fixtures tosupply the demand. The addition ofthis factory will increase the productionof Pacific plumbing fixtures approxi-mately thirty per cent, and it is veryprobable that more kilns will have to bebuilt in the near future as the demandincreases. Pacific ware has been on the marketa comparativly short time, but due toits quality and advantageous location fordelivery on the coast, it has won foritself a remarkable name. Pacific fix-tures have been installed in such build-ings as San Franciscos new four milliondollar city hall, the Oakland civic audi-torium, the San Francisco PolytechnicHigh School, Oakland Technical School,Hobart building. Plaza Hotel, AlamedaCounty Infirmary, Franklin School, Oak-land, and the Eugene School, Portland,Ore. Pacific plants now employ approxi-mately 400 men, which means that thisindustry is supporting about 2000 peopleon the Pacific Coast.
