The widowhas recently turned over to the university thecomplete endowment they designed, amountingto nearly $30,000,000. A harmonious architec-tural plan, of symmetry and beauty unrivaledat present by any university in the world, hasalready been carried far enough to accommo-date the 1,200 students (of whom one third arewomen) and has cost several millions.
