Itis also serviceable in colics and in strangulated hernia. It is excellentin inflammation of the stomach and bowels, and in all diseases where anunirritating, emollient purgative is required. Employment.—The dose of this oil is from half an ounce to oneounce, or a table-spoonful poured on peppermint water or in boiledmilk, which, in a measure, disguises it. No 86. Yellow Dock.
