Description
English: Entrance to The Albemarle, a condominium located at 1830 17th Street, N.W., (intersection of 17th and T Streets, N.W.) in the Dupont Circle neighborhood of Washington, D.C.


Built in 1900, the seven-storied, REnaissance Revival style, former apartment building was designed by prominent architect Thomas Franklin Schneider. The Albemarle is designated as a contributing property to the Strivers' Section, a historic district listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1985.
