| Description |
English: The Air Museum. This is a good museum featuring the history of aviation in the region, with particular emphasis on RAF Llandwrog which occupied the site 1941-55. A special section deals with the development of RAF Mountain Rescue Teams. It was here, under the command of a doctor, Flight Lieutenant George D. Graham, that the first such team was set up in 1942.http://air-world.co.uk |
