Description
English: Thanksgiving Beacon, Thanksgiving Square By Andy Scott, 2005. Standing 19.5m high and constructed of stainless steel and bronze, this represents hope, aspiration, peace and reconciliation. She is perched on the globe, signifying a unified approach to life on this earth. the concept was proposed originally by a Belfast woman Myrtle Smith who was inspired by Thanksgiving Square in Dallas, Texas.
