Description
English: This temple is constructed based on tamil architecture.

King raja raja cholan 1 constructed this temple for dedicated to lord siva.constructing period is ad 1004 to 1010. Now the temple age is above 1000 years. The temple height is 216 feet,the vimaanam weighs is 80 ton. The big statue of nandhi carved out of a single rock(near by 12 feet).this is the second largest nandhi in india. Each and every worker (who are all worked in the construction) name is mentioned in this temple wall. This temple is constructed by full of granites.

This is one of most beautiful temple in the world..
