| Description |
English: I fitted the lamp lenses to the cover and slotted it over the chassis. Here I am testing the mains-on (green) and has-run (red) indicators. To do the latter I connected test leads to the announcement solenoid drive and -ve supply rails, touching these together with the machine in TAM mode turns on the has-run indicator and it should (and does) stay on when the contact is broken due to the latch circuit.
The LED indicators are certainly bright enough. The disadvantage is that the light source is smaller than a filament, so you get a spot of light rather than an evenly-illuminated lens. But it's certainly useable. |
