Description
Italiano: Il punto trigonometrico è servito nel passato ai topografi per misurare altezze e distanze delle vette circostanti utilizzando uno strumento ottico, il teodolite, con il quale si eseguivano più misure da punti noti (i “punti trigonometrici”), traguardando vette o alpeggi, nel nostro caso la Cima di Valsolero e la Malga Valsolero di Sotto. Intersecando le misure con un procedimento detto “triangolazione”, con adeguati calcoli si potevano ottenere altitudini e distanze. Oggi, nell’era del GPS, alle misure da terra si sostituiscono misure effettuate dai satelliti su punti in cui viene posto lo strumento elettronico digitale.
