| Description |
High Line used to be an elevated freight rail line extending south along the industrial warehouses in the Chelsea district. Closed in 1980, it was renovated as an elevated park and re-opened in two stages in 2009 and 2011, to coincide with the area's urban renewal. Looking north on Tenth Avenue, near 20th Street. And I love the Edison Park Fast billboard ad. (It goes without saying that parking in Manhattan costs a fortune - if it exists at all.) |
