English: Map of the offensive routes of the Kurdish-launched Tell Abyad offensive (2015). After the initial advances of the offensive ended on June 25, ISIL carried out a suicide attack on Kobanî, as well as an attack on Tell Abyad, from June 25 through July 3. ISIL also launched multiple counterattacks into the M4 Highway intersection and Ayn Issa; however, these attacks were fully repelled by July 10, and the Kurdish-led forces were able to recapture all of the areas lost, thus ending their offensive on that day.

The black dashed lines indicate the frontlines on May 31, 2015, prior to the start of the offensive. The arrows indicate the direction of the Kurdish-led Euphrates Volcano offensive, with the black arrows indicating the ISIL forces, and the arrow sizes indicate the size of the forces in transit, proportionally. Arrows indicating the direction of the Kobanî massacre are also shown. (Arrows are only included for the initial advance, up until June 25. As such, the arrows do not include the subsequent ISIL and YPG counterattacks.)
