Summary[edit]

Description
English: A Teletext printed circuit board used in a Philips Viewdata unit. This board contains the expected circuitry to produce the video display: the SAA5020 timing chain, SAA5050 character generator ROM, 1K of static RAM and support logic. It also contains the SAA5030 to extract the teletext information from a video signal and the SAA5042 to decode that information and store it in the memory. These are not actually used in this unit, the composite video connector, top right on the PCB, is not used. I wonder how hard it would be to make use of this...
