Description
English: This image shows the restaurant "Teichhaus" in the valley of the Freiberger Mulde near Holzhau.
Deutsch: Blick auf das Gasthaus und die Pension "Teichhaus" der gleichnamigen kleinen Siedlung im Tal der Freiberger Mulde nahe Holzhau. Das Teichhaus war ursprünglich ein einzelnes Gehöft, das Ende des 16. Jahrhunderts am Grenzteich als Unterkunft des Floßmeister und Teichwarts errichtet wurde. Aus den umliegenden dichten Wäldern wurden über Jahrhunderte hinweg Hölzer in das Bergbaugebiet Freiberg/Brand-Erbisdorf geflösst.
