English: Marble plaque affixed to the birthplace of Carlo Poma, Martyr of Belfiore, hero of the Italian Risorgimento.

The sentence engraved in the tombstone is the following: TO DOCTOR CARLO POMA BORN IN THIS HOUSE ON DECEMBER 7, 1823 ALREADY CLEAR BY VIRTUE OF HEART AND INTELLECT FROM THE MARTIRIO DI BELFIORE IN DECEMBER 7, 1852 RETURN
