English: Taraprakeshwar Mahadev Temple on the banks of the Bagmati River, south of the Kathmandu Pashupatinath Temple. There is also a temple of Rajarajeshwar Devi and a temple of Brahma Bishna Maheshwor near this temple. Situated in the midst of greenery, this temple is of the pinnacle style and is also very artistic. The area of this temple is very large where there are houses where Kriyaputri lives. There is also a tank called Tara Prakeshwar near the temple. The temple has a very peaceful environment, clean and tidy, security arrangements etc. You can enter this temple only with permission.
