DescriptionTamiya Porsche 911 GT1 parts & my additions blue-taped together (3275566809).jpg |
Here's a brake duct taped together (right) but out where it can be appreciated,. The left duct and nose sheet metal are also taped together and placed where they belong. The duct carries cold air back from the square holes on either side of the radiator inlet. The front sheetmetal is slid in around the radiator. These are the front brake duct improvements I did when we were on vacation at the Gray Whale house in Sea Ranch. The little ducts are handed- they taper left to right as well as rising from front to back, so they start square and finish as a vertical rectangle. The inner walls are flat against the radiator duct, parallel to the direction of airflow, while the outer walls are angled across the airflow. AND from the side there is an "S" shape to the whole business. Wow! Tamiya Porsche 911 GT1 improvements IMG_0609 |
