Description
English: Front cover of Tamerlane and Other Poems by a Bostonian, the first published work of Edgar Allan Poe. Only about 12 copies are known to exist. This one is from the Susan Jaffe Tane Collection, the largest privately-owned Poe collection in the world. According to the web site, this particular copy is the most recent one found. A book collector purchased it in 1988 a New Hampshire antique store for $15.
