Son mari Masinissa, roi de Numidie, lempoisonna pour la soustraireau pouvoir des Romains. La reine, debout devant un autel où un prêtreoffre un sacrifice, tient le vase de la droite, et serre une dernière foisla main à sa vieille nourrice.
