TV Typewriter prototype by Don Lancaster. The TV Typewriter was a video terminal that could display 2 pages of 16 lines of 32 upper case characters on a standard television. The design was featured on the cover of the September 1973 issue of Radio-Electronics magazine. This prototype is shown on page 45. This TV Typewriter is on display at the Computer History Museum in Mountain View, California. The photo was taken on November 5, 2006 by Michael Holley. The camera was a Cannon PowerShot A630. The background was removed with Adobe Photoshop Elements 3.0 |
