Description
English: The entrance into an old bunker tunnel housing the private Færder Military History Museum since 2018, at Torås Fort, a former coastal fortress on the island of Tjøme by the Oslo Fjord in Norway. The fortress was established by the Norwegians in 1938, but the coastal artillery was completed with four canons etc. by German military forces as part of the Festung Norwegen during Nazi Germany's occupation of Norway in the Second World War 1940 – 1945. The fortress at Torås was closed down in 1999. Today the area is open to the public as a cultural heritage and historical site.
Norsk bokmål: Inngangen til bunkeranlegg 1012 ved Nedre leir på Torås fort på øya Tjøme i Ytre Oslofjord. Fjelltunnelen i svaberget rommer det private Færder Militærhistoriske Museum (Torås Museum) som i 2018 åpnet en utstilling av militærhistoriske gjenstander fra krigen og framover, særlig tilknyttet stedet og distriktet. Bildet viser gitterport, norsk nasjonalflagg, kanaler og lufteanlegg, diverse skilt med mer.

Kystfortet på Torås ble etablert av Forsvaret i 1939, men ble ferdigstilt med fire kanoner av den tyske okkupasjonsmakta under andre verdenskrig. Etter krigen overtok Kystartilleret. Det var også kursvirksomhet på stedet. Anlegget ble nedlagt i 1999, og området med krigsminnene er i dag åpent for publikum.
