Description
Magyar: A Szinyei Merse Pál Társaságot 1920. március 12-én alapították a mester tisztelői és barátai, emlékének megőrzése és fiatal művésztehetségek pártolása céljából. 1949-ig működött, újjászervezték 1992-ben. Székhelye Budapest. — Az 1925. évi közgyűlésének ábrázolt tagjai: Álló sor (balról jobbra): Mattyasovszky Zsolnay László, Majovszky Pál, Hatvany Ferenc, Basch Andor, Pólya Tibor, Zádor István, Kandó László, Szüle Péter, Szőnyi István, Rudnay Gyula, Sidló Ferenc, Herman Lipót, Falus Elek, Lázár Béla, Beck Ö. Fülöp, Ernst Lajos. Ülő sor: Magyar Mannheimer Gusztáv, Lyka Károly Petrovics Elek, Csók István, Jeszenszky Sándor, Molnár Géza, Iványi Grünwald Béla, Ybl Ervin, Glatz Oszkár, Vidovszky Béla.

This work is in the public domain in the United States because it meets three requirements:

  1. it was first published outside the United States (and not published in the U.S. within 30 days),
  2. it was first published before 1 March 1989 without copyright notice or before 1964 without copyright renewal or before the source country established copyright relations with the United States,
  3. it was in the public domain in its home country (Hungary) on the URAA date (1 January 1996).
The official position taken by the Wikimedia Foundation is that "faithful reproductions of two-dimensional public domain works of art are public domain".
