Description
English: Damascus residents walk the streets of the old city of Damascus. The souk is famous for spice vendors and many historical khans located along it, including Khan As'ad Pasha. Damascus, Syria, founded in the 3rd millennium B. C., is one of the oldest continuously inhabited cities in the world and a major cultural centre of the Levant and Arab world.
