English: Insignia from my collection of SWITZERLAND Law Enforcement Agencies.
Switzerland is a Federation of 26 "States"(Carton; Kanton; Cantone - dependanct upon whether French, German or Italian language predominates). Each "State" has a Police force, as do some municipalities within the "State".
Deutsch: Ärmelabzeichen der Graubündner Kantonspolizei. Im Widerspruch zur englischen Beschreibung folgt die Kantonseinteilung der Schweiz nicht den Sprachgrenzen, sondern hat sich historisch entwickelt. In Graubünden sind – als einzigem Kanton – drei der vier Schweizer Amtssprachen offiziell: Rätoromanisch, Deutsch und Italienisch. Die Kantone Bern, Freiburg und Wallis sind zweisprachig.
Esperanto: Manika insigno de la grizona kantona polico (Svislando). Kontraŭe al la angla priskribo la kantona divido de Svislando ne sekvas lingvolimojn, sed evoluis historie. Grizono estas la sola kantono, kie tri el la kvar lingvoj de Svislando estas oficialaj: la rumanĉa, la germana kaj la itala. La kantojoj Berno, Friburgo kaj Valezo estas dulingvaj. |
