Detail view of a Swing Mk4 bolt showing the cocking pin

Summary[edit]

Description
English: Detail view of a Swing Mk4 Target Rifle bolt, showing the cocking pin. The Swing was developed in the United Kingdom during the 1970s as one of the early purpose-built target rifles. Service rifles such as the Lee-Enfield and Mauser 1898 were perceived as having reached the limits of their development potential.
