Description	Svenska: Frimärke 10 öre 1885, från Postmuseums samlingar. Märket var i första hand avsett som frankering på inrikes brev i första viktklassen. Vid de första tryckupplagorna (Typ I) användes en alizarinfärg, krapprött. Det var ett färgämne med stor hållbarhet. Samtidigt var det dyrt i inköp och under våren 1885 började Jacob Bagges tryckeri att i stället trycka märkena med erotrysin. Tyvärr är den färgen känslig för ljuspåverkan och dessutom är den något vattenlöslig. I samband med bytet av tryckfärg gjorde Max Mirowsky för hand en uppgravering av porträttets nacklinje på alla bildstämplar över hela tryckplåten (Typ II). Upplaga: 12 741 900, 10 öre. Märkena framställdes utan vattenmärke (endast i arkmarginalerna). Ogiltiga till frankering fr. o. m. den 1 mars 1961.
