Description	Svenska: Frimärke 12 öre 1877, från Postmuseums samlingar. Ett verkligt folkfrimärke. Trots en måttlig försäljningsperiod, ungefär 7½ år, fick det den dittills största upplagan av svenska frimärken, närmare 165 miljoner ex. Tolv öre utgjorde ju normalporto för inrikes brev i första viktklassen under lång tid, från den 1 juli 1858 till den 31 december 1884. Tolv öre var också portot för brev i första viktklassen till Norge och Danmark mellan 1869 och 1884. Den tidigaste kända avstämplingen är den 14 maj 1877. Tre otandade, stämplade ex. är kända. Upplaga: 164 669 200, 12 öre. Märkena framställdes utan vattenmärke (endast i arkmarginalerna). Ogiltiga till frankering fr. o. m. den 30 december 1910.
