Description
Svenska: Frimärke 17 öre 1866, från Postmuseums samlingar. Frimärket i den udda valören 17 öre tillverkades med ett huvudsakligt syfte. Det skulle främst användas på brev till Danmark enligt en taxa som gällde mellan 1865 och 1869. Märket uppvisar violetta eller lila nyanser. Till en upplaga i april 1869, 100.000 ex., användes en särskilt ömtålig färgblandning. De märkena blev grå endast något dygn efter tryckningen. Upplaga: 767 300, 17 öre. Märkena framställdes utan vattenmärke (endast i arkmarginalerna). Ogiltiga till frankering fr. o. m. den 30 december 1910.
