The Oerlikon-Buhrle SURA-D is a 80-mm rocket developed in Switzerland in the late 1970s and fielded in the 1980s. The SURA-D is an air-to-surface rocket The original version of the rocket Sura, the Sura 80R, developed by Hispano-Suiza in the 1960-ies. In 1971 Oerlikon-Buhrle took over the military division of Hispano-Suiza and renamed the Sura 80R, the Sura-FL, further developed the Sura-FL which is the current Sura-D. |
