Description
Ελληνικά: καταβόθρα, καρστικο φαινομένων στο Στυμφαλία, Πελοπόννησος, Ελλάδα. Καθε 4-5 χρονια, οταν οι μεγαλες ποσοτητες νερού συσσωρευτηκαν η μπλοκαριστηκαν, υπηρχε κατακρατηση νερού. Οταν η ποσοτητα του νερού, ηταν πολυ μεγαλη, διμιουργηθηκαν λιμνες.

English: Southwest Ponor of Lake Stymfalia. Relatively frequent phenomenon in Karstplains northeast Peloponnese, Greece. When precipitation of winters is exceptionally rich, the lake expands and the ponor becomes active.

Deutsch: Südwest Ponor des Sees von Stymfalia (Ökosystem). Relativ häufige Erscheinung in Karstbecken (Hochebenen) des nordöstlichen Peloponnes, Griechenland. In besonders niederschlagsreichen Wintern dehnt sich der See so weit aus, dass der Ponor aktiv wird.
