| Description | Strike a Pose — It's 1935. You've been working all day in the heat drilling in Polk Lake, Florida using that trusty 'ol sand pump as part of an investigation to locate and estimate the amount of phosphate content that can be mined on public lands in the Florida phosphate reserves. You need a break. You're tired. Suddenly, the photographer wades out into the water and catches you in the middle of your hard work. Are you annoyed? Do you get angry? Nah. Opportunity has just presented itself to lock down a shot at a future male modeling career in case your days of drilling don't work out at the Survey. "Look sharp guys and put your hands on your hips...there you go. You with the rope, hold it up like you're doing something. OK, great...now say, "Vanity Fair!" |
