Summary[edit]

Description
English: One of the few Long Island Rail Road stations with an exclusive pedestrian crossing, this one is between Stony Brook (LIRR station), and the State University of New York at Stony Brook, in Stony Brook, New York. The only other vehicles allowed at this crossing (besides bicycles) are emergency vehicles and LIRR maintenance vehicles. Not even Westwood (LIRR station) has that luxury.
